PhotoCamp Austin will be a one-day event with late afternoon/evening 
photowalks (various types/leaders) through downtown. Picture the 
biggest venue we can find with plenty of segmented space to set up 
mini studios and laptops and projectors to cover anything and 
everything about the art of capturing light, workflows, digital 
manipulation and business related stuff – whatever people want to talk 
about/learn about. The vision is to create something that’s worth 
traveling from out of town/state to attend for all different levels of 
experience. We are working on connecting with local and web vendors with the latest photos 
gear and goods there to see and play with. Perhaps we’ll have some fun day-long contests with awesome prizes. All this totally free, of 
course.  :)

There’s SO MUCH incredible talent in Austin that there’s have no doubt the
content and attendees can surpass all of this, and it’s certain that the collective efforts of a planning group can make a day 
far better than we’ve described here. Are you up for it?
