Getting a little traction

Laura posted something recently, just in the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Just an idea. A vision she’s had. I thought it was exciting, and jumped on board quickly.

In just this first week, we’ve gotten 17 members on the “organizing committee” (visit our Google group to join), set up an email signup using MailChimp, have the first design for a logo and banner, and have been brainstorming our little brains off.

We’ve started communicating with some of the photography groups in the area, and are already getting interest from them.

This is just cool!
